Accessibility Audit
Many people we spoke to had concerns about the street’s physical conditions, so we asked Service Designer Tegan Mills to undertake an accessibility audit. A group of residents from April Court were particularly keen to work with her, as their daily lives are negatively affected by varying accessibility issues on the street. Whilst the group were conducting the audit on St Helens Road, many passers-by stopped to share their own negative experiences of accessibility. The audit illustrates the importance of working cooperatively in creative and empowering ways with communities, and can be downloaded on our Publications page.
